Are Renault dealerships open for trade?

  • Yes, in accordance with level 4 of the national lockdown, selected Renault Dealerships are open to all customers for sales and emergency repairs. We will also be able to perform services for essential service and level 4 workers. Strict health and safety measures are adhered to at all operating Dealerships to ensure the safety of our valued employees and customers         
  • Contact our Customer Care line (on 0861 736 2858 ) to find out which dealership is open near you.      

What are the trading hours under lockdown level 4?

  • Monday – Friday 8:30 – 17:00
  • Saturdays – 8:30 – 13:00 
  • Public holidays 8:30 – 13:00
  • Before visiting a dealership, please contact our Customer Care (on 0861 736 2858 ) to confirm if your preferred dealership is open.

Service & Maintenance FAQs

Will I be able to complete scheduled maintenance or repairs on my vehicle?


  • In accordance with the Government Gazette; National disaster act regulation, the services we’re conducting are in line with level 4 lockdown guidelines;
  • You are welcome to Book your service online now.

What if I’m not an essential services worker and need repairs/ or to book a service for my vehicle?

  • You can use the Book a service online option to book your service.
  • Vehicles that are serviced by Roadside Assistance that fall out of the essential vehicle's parameters will be towed to either the customer's residence or place of work, and where not possible, to a designated area of safety.

I had a service booked for a date during the lockdown, what should I do to make another booking?

My service/ warranty has expired during the lockdown period. Am I still able to get my vehicle serviced/repaired?

  • Customers whose Renault South-Africa New Vehicle Warranty expired in the last week of March 2020, or is set to expire in April 2020, will have the Renault South-Africa New Vehicle Warranty term extended until the end of May 2020.
  • Furthermore, we have extended the leeway in terms of the Service/Maintenance parameters for those customers who were due to service their vehicles between 27 March and 30 April 2020 to 31 May 2020. Customers are encouraged to book a service online, or contact Customer Care to schedule a booking  (on 0861 736 2858 ) , to ensure compliance with the Renault South-Africa New Vehicle Warranty extension.

Health and Safety at the Renault Dealerships FAQs

What measures are in place to protect my health and safety if I need to visit a Renault dealership after the lockdown period?

As your safety is our priority, our dealerships will be taking all the necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of all our customers and employees. These include          :
  1. Observing appropriate social distancing (1 - 2 metres) at all times
  2. Disinfecting and sanitising surfaces within vehicles, such as steering wheels, gear levers, door handles and controls
  3. Regular hand washing and use of protective gloves
  4. Customers may request to observe the disinfecting of their vehicle before collection, if required .
  5. All service vehicles will be sanitized on entry and before collection.
